Everyone loves smoothie, right? Who doesn't love a combo of creamy yogurt, fresh or frozen fruit, natural sweeteners, plus delicious and nutritious super foods?
Smoothies are a great way for you to get all of your most nutritionally-packed foods into one glass, but it can also work for your kids.
Smoothies include the whole fruit, so the vitamins and other nutrients are in a very natural form, combined with the fruit's fibre and this means that they cause fewer fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
The best thing is children tend to like smoothies made of fruits that they would otherwise not touch, so by drinking them they get used to a larger variety of real fruit tastes.
